Do you have a homestudy? If you are not married yet (you mentioned fiance) you may not be able to adopt as most states require you to be married for two years, as do most agency's etc.
If you are h/s ready, did you hide fiance from s/w?

No I don't have a home study. I have been married before. but It didn't work out. He left me to travel with the fair and I did not want to live that kind of life. But, The man I am with now is much better. I have already checked into it, and you don't have to be married here in the state of indiana. You just have to be 18 yrs. of age. I got the information from my moms agency. She is a licensed foster mom. But, she isn't doing it right now because she got unable.

I can't believe that the state of IND does not have anything in place that states you need to be married to adopt. Or at the very least, everyone over the age of 18, in the household must fill out vital info and submit fingerprints.
How are you going to handle things with a pbmom in regards to having a fiance but not showing a stable marriage for someone who is looking for a two parent family?
Michelle,,,,,,,,,,,,,,no, all done adding to my family.
