Hi, we are currently a family of 9. My husband and I have been married 21 years. We were both born in Cuba but came at the age of 3 and 6 to the united states. We have three biological children ages 19 yr old son, 16 yr old son and a fifteen yr old daughter. We have four adopted children. We have an american 10 yr old adopted daughter (we adopted at age 16 months, we had her since she was 2 days old), we have a 15 yr old mexican adopted daughter (we adopted her at age 9), we have a 18 yr old mexican adopted daughter (we adopted at age 13), and we have a 6 year old adopted Haitian son (we adopted at age 3 but had him since he was 7 months old). Our children were all adopted from the Florida foster care system. We were foster parents for 12 years and fostered many. Now that most of our kids are grown we would like to adopt again. We cannot afford to pay international adoption and because the amount of kids we have dont qualify for fostering to adopt. We dont have the finances for a private adoption but would love to give a forever family to a child. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can go about helping a child have a family at little to no cost? We are a multicultural family. Please email me at: [email protected]
