We adopted our daughter who is now 3 years old and we are trying to adopt again! Things happened so quickly with our first adoption. This time it seems like things are going slower!! I know it will all be worth the wait and God has a plan. I just hope that his plan is to have things happen SOON!! :)

For our 1st we waited I think around 8 months from start to finish. Our son's BM pick us when she was 5 months.
For our 2nd we started in Oct 2005 and were picked in Dec 2005 and our daughter was born early March 2006.
It seems long waiting but after I look back it happened really fast.

We started the process searching for a BM in October of 2005; we were selected by a BM in late May, and our son was born in late June;

Now we are searching again for baby #2 to join our family........

God bless !

Well I can state this time around began in May of this year. We are listed on parent profiles, heck got a hit the FIRST DAY!!! Needless to say it did not pan out. Mid July another live hit, however baby wound up going to dad's parents. Next in August a live hit, was a scammero only wanted money. Now we have a live hit birth mom is 30 weeks along but low and behold a glitch in the home study. I once took anti depressants back in the mid 80's when mom passed away and we received an ADD diagnoses on my now 26 year old son. So the state is insisting on doing a phychological evaluation on me. It is tricky to get case worker and doctor together.... just hope this is resolved before this birth mom has baby..... thanks for the vent.

Thanks for the encouragement...... I decided to not let this set back get me down this weekend. Our church had a women's conference Saturday night. I put a smile on my face and attended, sang with the other women in the choir and we all had a good time. Next weekend is General Conference, hoping this issue will be resolved by then, and our home study completed and ready to go.

We are looking to adopt. We are not matched with anyone :(
But, we are going to be taking foster parent classes in hopes of maybe finding another child to share our lives with.

We are still praying to create our family through adoption. We've arranged our lives to be fully dedicated to raising a family (currently childless).
