We have been together for eight years and have been married for five years. Our dreams after we married was to have a child together. Unfortunately after trying for a year we decided to see a specialist that found out we had fertility issues and would not be able to have children. We decide at that point that we would adopt. We have friends that adopted from Foster Care, so we decided to pursue Foster Care in hopes that we could adopt a child along the way. After two years of Fostering and having 2 different baby's live with us for over a year each and then be returned to their parents. That's when we realized we didn't have it in ourselves to love them with all our hearts, as if they were our own child, only to have them returned to their parents and we were left with a big hole in our heart. So we chose to stop Fostering and pursue an with a private Agency. We will keep in contact with letters and photos of the child as they develop in their life. We also promise that they will always know the love and courage it took you to give birth, watch them grow and what it took for you to give them to us!
We would love to tell you in advance that your child will be so loved and have a life you would dream they have. They will always have a sense of security and strong family values, but they will always have a great childhood that they can tell their kids about when they grow up. You will be proud of them when you see them as they grow. We do plan on starting a pre-paid college fund from the day they are adopted, that they can use in the future if they choose. We would love to see them get involved in School sports, club, and social events. We will always take the time to be involved in there schooling such as watching there sporting events, plays, field trips or making cakes for their classmates on their birthday. We want them to be secure and have a sense of belonging. We also own a beautiful home with plenty of space for a child to grow in. We have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Den, Fireplace and a big back yard with a pool. Your child will always have their own bedroom and bathroom. They will always be welcome to have friends over and hang out in the den, have sleep over parties, play in the pool, play in the back yard, were we have a big oak tree for a swing and for them to climb up in and build a big tree house.
With our jobs we both have four weeks vacation a year, so we love traveling. Your child will have the luxury of traveling the world for two separate weeks a year and we do many week-end trips. We have been to many places, to name a few, Mexico, New York, Italy, Bermuda, Texas, and so many more. We also enjoy our weekend trips to name a few Disney, Orlando, Camping, The Keys, Daytona Beach, Saint Augustine. We also live across the street from a large City Park and your child will enjoy riding their bike or playing on the play ground there. We also live three miles from the beach and love to go there on the weekends.
We both have been blessed with financially secure jobs, working for the government in Florida, which will ensure your child with a stable and loving environment for them to grow into a productive adults. We are also blessed to have wonderful friends and family, who are ready to welcome a child into our family. Our families are very close and live close by, so your child will enjoy celebrations, such as birthdays, holidays, and family dinners, with many family members.
We promise you from the bottom of our hearts, that whatever life brings your child, they will always know they are loved. We will tell them about you and how difficult and hard the decision was for you to make this choice of adoption. They will always know the love and generosity it took for you to make this decision. We also want you to know when this child is older and they ask about you or want to meet you that we will encourage them to do so. We feel very strong about this and we want you to know in advance this may happen someday!
We encourage you to feel good about yourself and what you have chosen to do with no regrets and know you have made the right choice! Our arms are wide open to you and your child. We want you to know you can trust us and know our hearts are in the right place as yours is. We will love your baby and love you for considering us to be the parents of your child.
