I wouldn't waste the FBI's time unless there is someone who has caused harm or fraud. Unfortunately ladies, emotional scams are not looked into by the FBI. If money has crossed hands, mail fraud, physical harm or threats, etc. happens, then FBI notified - but there needs to be a track record establised. I am not the one contacting the FBI on these cases, only collecting info and passing to individuals who are. As I have mentioned before, one of the best places to learn about adoption scams is the book The Cruelest Con - if you go to the website, you will find info on how to report a scam.

In the case of someone recycling other PAP's profile info, you should report that immediately to your agency, atty, etc. and the place where you host your profile so they can address the issue as well.
Keep up the good work!
P.S. - emotional scammers (and / or mentally ill persons) just keep recycling themselves - that's mostly who you have to keep on top of here! ↑ |
