Hi - I have a 26 month old son who doen't talk, he has actually regressed - no longer says mamma/dadda and has numerous other traits of autism. Oscar has been referred to a Paeditrician for assessment - but I have been offered no advice /support for meantime and know no one in similar situation.

hi rachel,i live in uk,my daughter eas diagnosed 2wks ago with autism.meah is 3yrs old and i know what ur going thru.it took 6mths from first meeting with pead for diagnosis,the assessment she had is called a multiple proffessional assessment which was for 2hrs awk for 5wks,it included peaditrician,play therapist,occupational therapist,speech & language therapist!they ask ALOT of questions,i got results in 3wks.my advice is read books by other parents etc.if u want u can email me at [email protected]. i'll give u some names of books to read!u've got some stressfull mths ahead but ur not on ur own!any questions i can answer i will but quite new to all this myself although i've got great proffs helping me!!

hi im in scotland....ive got 4 children with an autistic spectrum disorder, now all older between 23 - 17...im happy to share what i know...but im still learning!
