My son is almost 8 and autistic. I would like to speak to other parent with autistic children who don't speak and don't respond well to other people. He goes to a special ed school, doesn't speak and doesn't like many foods. ↓

My son is also 8, doesn't eat many foods, has a vocabulary of about 25 words (when he can remember what they are), and can't stand to be in a crowd. I took him to Bob Evans last weekend, dinner lasted long enough to get our meal; then the melt down started. He doesn't go to a special ed school, there isn't one in my area unfortunately. So we work within the public school system to get him his education. I also work with him at home. ↑
