My son's eyes look like that SOMETIMES, and it seems when they are, that's when he's "worse". I really think its related to food allergies. A lot of parents believe that some food ingredients act like opiates in an autistic child (can't remember the exact explanation of why, but they have one). One mother at the support group I go to even said her older son accidentally ate the food item (can't remember if its gluten(wheat) or casein (milk)). She said that he told her he actually felt "high" as if he had taken prescription pain medicine. Don't necessarily know if I believe in this, but its a theory... ↑ |
