I am going back to work in 2 weeks and my 6 week old son will not take a bottle. I have bought 7 diffrent nipples and he will not take it. These last few weeks he was solely breastfed. I dont know what else to do, any tips on switching him over???

Have someone else give him the bottle. my son still won't take a bottle from me very well and he is 6 months old. he just started to take one for me. also it is really hard but if he is hungry enough he will. its hard to hear them cry though. also don't hold him like u usually do when u feed him. don't have him in the nursing position. hope some of this helps. good luck!!!

Do u have a Boppy pillow? if so then lay him down on that and it elevates their head enough so they dont choke. a friend gave me that tip. that how she got her little one to take a bottle from her. if she held her at all she would just nuzzle her and try to nurse.

My baby refused a bottle for a long time when I went to school on Saturdays from 9 am to 3pm he would not eat the whole time. After I got out he would nurse the rest of the day. Maybe he wont have to take a bottle if you nurse him before work and on your break. My baby is eight months now and he will take juice from a bottle but not breastmilk.
