How many months after delivery did YOU start your periods when breastfeeding. My periods recently returned 9mths after delivery. I am still breastfeeding but wonder if this is also a sign that my milk supply is beginning to decrease ? ? ?

I also got mine back 9 months post pardom. this is not a sign that your milk supply is getting low. every woman gets theirs back at a different time. some get theirs back right away others don't until they completly wean. i'm still nursing my son (with no problems) and he is 15months old. if you pump you might notice a small decrease in milk right before you start your peroid but it goes right back up after a few days. other than that you have nothing to worry about, except you can get pregnant so be careful.

wow, you girls are lucky. My period returned last month, only 2 and a half months after the delivery of my daughter. I was sooo disappointed. I was looking forward to not having it for awhile.

To those that have had them return- Were they regular after? I had mine the middle of December, but nothing again yet. Pre-preggo I was always on the pill so i was used to the regularity. I'm just wondering now that I've had it, how often I should have it before I start to wonder if something's up.

every one is different. some woman go right back on schedule like pre-preg. others skip a few. mine were normal for the first couple of months and now i have been 1 week late for the last few months. i have also had spotting in between periods, all of these things my doc said was normal. but if i hadn't had one in a while i would be taking a preg. test if i were you. even if i'm a day late i take one. but i can be parinod.

I'm waiting to find out if mine will be as regular as pre-pregnancy. I was 28 days to the hour before ! ! ............ got mine back last month - hoping I will be as regular. Happy though to hear that its not a sign of low milk supply.
