Hi! Your concerns are common, I am a neonatal nurse and what we always tell moms is to go by the diapers. If he is nursing well, and wetting about 6-8 diapers a day he is doing fine. The baby will stimulate the milk much better than a pump. If he is not wetting, and seems to not be satisfied and getting dry lips, these are signs of dehydration and you should call your pediatrician. Let me know how it goes!! ↑ |
