This is a great site. Can't believe I Just now found it. Keep up the good work, we all need to vent.
With that said, I have been widowed for a very, very long time. I have two grown children. After my husbands death I felt like my girls were frist priority. I dated but nothing serious until I met the person I am writing about. I am in a relationship with a man much younger than I. We have known each other over 12 years, until the age difference made me end it. He got out of the Air Force and moved back to his home state. Which is about 10 hours from me. Several years ago I got a postcard from him. Out of the blue. I hadn't talked to him since the break up. I waited awhile and then I called his mom at work. She proceeded (we had a great relationship) to tell me how bad things were and that he was in the middle of a very nasty divorce. At that point I ask her to give him my number and call me. We talked for several months and I drove down to see him, not at his home. We started seeing each other and talked about gettting back together after everything was final. He has two girls who are in elementary school. And he and his ex share custody swapping every other week, but they have been divorced for about a year and a half. I have met the grils and we get along. I am not their mom and do not wish to be. I want us to have a good healthy relationship built on trust, respect and love. Well....... now his ex is doing everything in her power to get him back. Threats, lies you name it. My financee is a highway patrolman and she continues harassing him with fellow officers and whatever way she can. Obviously it is not over for her. It has been over for him a long time . I have tried to encourage him to talk, text whatever in order for them to communicate. She calls me "the old woman" which really doesnt bother me. I guess she is jealous because I look pretty good for my age and I am much smaller than she is and I have him. Her friends have told her that "I take care of myself". She has made it plain she wants him back and he has told her we are planning to marry after custody and property is resolved. This state is very slow about this stuff. She even named the restaurants we visit when I am there. Is she satalking now? It is really sad and a tad bit freaky. She is living about an hour and a half away, but still works in their small town. I have tried to think of ways to speak with her. I even thought about sending her an email or text message. Just to see if we could meet for coffee or lunch and try to work on a relationship for the sake of my fiancee and most important the children. We have not met and I think perhaps we could be better people and put whatever issues she has with me aside. I welcome any comments on this, and any/all suggestions.

There's a law called libel and stalking, get a lawyer and don't talk to her.L Let her hang herself. You'll end up on top.
