i would say stay where u are... because they baby will be in your room for the first few months any way so why stress your self to look for a two bedroom if your not going to need it right way! just my opinion tho..

we stayed in a one bedroom till our daughter was 27mos. then got a 2 bedroom she is now 5 and still sleeps with us. It doesnt matter either way if you dont have the money to move just stay put lots of people wait till at least 1 years old for that just save up some money.

I know someone who has a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old and they live in a 1 BR apartment because they simply can't afford a 2BR. They can barely afford the diapers but they try to make ends meet. We have a 3 yr old and are having a baby in May and we are thinking about moving to a 1 BR because it is a big BR and has all kind of room. Until I start working then we can probably move to a 2 BR because my fiancè is the only one that works right now.

Also my son sleeps in our room but he sleeps in his big boy bed. He has been sleeping in his own bed since he was 2. If you can afford a 2 Br then go ahead but if you get a 1BR for now you can save the money you would be paying for a 2Br in a jar or something and then when the child is bigger you can get a 2BR.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

The 1 BR apartments that we have here are very spacious and my friend was able to fit a queen size bed, dresser, crib and playpen all in the room. Plus it had a big closet and a linen closet in the bathroom. So you should be able to put the crib against one wall and your bed against the other but not near the windows.

everyones gonna give you different answers, everytone has different opinions...i live in a 3 bedroom house but we are still puting the nursery in our room...we just moved the TV and computer out to the front room...we live with the grandparents so basically all WE have is one room..we;ve discussed putting the baby in the other room but then again, its not really ours. its the guest room. we decided that well discuss moving him in the other room when he gets older...i dont think you have to rush it,

I was just like you hun! I wanted a 2 bedroom, my room-then the babys room! Then my doc said no it should not be done b/c you need to hear if he's breathing okay and all this stuff. So DO what i'm doing-me and the baby in my room (It will be packed in here-lol!) for like 6 months-1y then get him/ her i's own room.
I want him to have his own rrom after 1y because I really don't want him to become dependent. My little sister said in my mom's room till ten-I just think thats crazy! I never did that. Ten is ridcoulous.

my daughter is 5 in our bed still they only grow up once this is the only chance to bond and before you know it they are teens and dont want to hang out so i enjoy being with her constantly. She still goes to friends for sleepovers and when she is comfortable she will sleep in her own room. dont rush it

Our little one is due in July, and we plan on keeping him/her in our room in a bassinet for the first couple of months. After that, we are going to try to put him/her in his/her crib in her/his own room. We will see how that goes? I think whatever you and your husband choose to do will be best! Best wishes!!!

I think you need a 2 bedroom. I remember when our son(just born)slept in our room and having sex was really weird. Even though he didnt know, its very distracting when they cry and interupt you!!!
