Hey I thought I would start this topic for those of us 25 or older. I don't want to sound pretentious but I feel that my situation is a little different to those who are 16, 17, 18 etc who feel that they have just met the love of their life or who sometimes by accident have fallen pregnant. I understand that this also happens to people of our age group, but for the majority we are at a different stage of our life compared to those who are younger, eg worked longer, undertaken more study, have had more life experiences.

A few conversation starters:

- Should we take leave to look after our children?
- What are our expectations of the father?
- Names
- Expectations
- When is the best time of year to fall pregnant and give birth.
- The nursery (do you have a theme?)
- How long you had been trying to fall pregnant for.
- Your first suspision that you were pregnant.
- How others reacted to your news.
- Doctors - The good, the bad and the ugly (or attractive)
- What you do each time you get a negative on the home pregnancy test
- How you feel when others fall pregnant immediately, and you don't
- The secrecy behind it all (not telling people until 2nd trimester etc)... has someone caught you out.

Pretty much anything.
