Well i'm due this sunday. i've got my doc appt tomorrow morning, i'm anxious to hear if anything has changed. I've been trying lots of stuff to get contractions and labour going, but nothing yet. I get some mild contractions but a ton of pressure. I'm so tired of being pregnant I want my baby out! I can't wait to hold her and finally have her with us. I can't believe how fast time has gone by, it still feels like I just found out lol. Anyways just thought i'd share and vent. Anyone else as close to their due date as I am??

I am due Monday and know exactly how you feel. I am so impatient and uncomfortable I am continuesly thinking I am in labor. My poor husband... Are you dialated at all? I have a doctors appt again tomorrow but last week I was at a 1. I'm going to ask the doctor to strip my membranes.

How exciting for you guys. It feels so far off for me. I mean the weeks seem to go by quickly, but I am only 16.5 weeks today so I still have a long way to go.

I honestly have no idea if i've dialated. My ob hasn't checked me to find out, but i'm hoping that tomorrow they will let me know something.

Well I go to my doc appt this morning to find out how things are going and hopefully see if i've dilated or effaced yet, hopefully i'll come home with some good news..even better would be if I got sent to the hospital :-) Ahh well.
What does it mean to strip the membranes? what does that do?

just to add a post, my doc appt went great. I found out there going to check me next week (if i make it till then), and at the same time i'll get an appt to be induced! yay! We're all hoping my lil one will come before my next appt which is next Tuesday. It's our one year anniversary this saturday so i've got a feeling she'll make her apperance that day lol. Ahh well either way i'll be happy. I'd rather her come on her own though.

I just got home from my doc appt. She said nothings changed since last week. I'm still only a 1. Which baffles me because I am having a lot of contractions. I am scheduled for a c-section on the 24th if nothing happens on it's own by then.

ahhh, that's good though. Hopefully you're lil one will come on it's own though. Are you having a boy or a girl?

Christina,
Does time really go by fast? I find it's been going so slow-I am only 18 weeks I am starting to enjoy it, but I really want to be done working now, I guess that is the only part I care about.( I find it hard to work with my belly).

well in my opinion time went by really fast. I mean things for me happened so quickly. I was living on my own then my bf's (now fiance) parents had asked me to move in and live with them, then i worked alil while, not long though. Then with the baby shower, camping trips and various other things throughout the summer months. Time just flew. I've got 2 days left till my due date, or possibly get induced next week. I just tried to stay busy and always have stuff to do. It's hard now cuz it's winter months and whatnot.

I found it hard begin pregnant during the summer, since I was just pregnant I couldn't tell anyone so it did such a little. I am due in March so at least I will have the summer to enjoy.
Thanks.

Christina-

I hear you. Time for me seems to be flying as well with my second pregnancy then with my first. But my husband made a point. With my son I quit work about 3 months before so the last month of my pregnancy seemed to drag on because I really had nothing to preoccupy myself with. This time around I have a 2 1/2 year old son, the the holidays and 11 days after Christmas I will be having my baby. But yeah, I 26 weeks and 5 days along now and I can't figure out where the time went. I was shocked yesterday that it was Thursday already. Hopefully the rest of the time that you have to be pregnant goes just as fast

yeah i hope it goes fast. i know either way i'll be having this baby next week or at the latest the week after. So it's not too much longer. I'm trying to do everything and anything I can think of to get her moving. I don't really think i've been having contractions lately. It's been more of just alot of cramping in my stomach and I couldn't sleep at all lastnight because of all the cramps and baby moving and my stomach was rock hard for the majority of the night. This is my first and i'm surprised at how fast it has gone by. But i'm just not totally sure what all these feelings are.
I also read that when ur water breaks it can be different for all women it can feel like a trickle or a gush. Well crap I always feel wierd trickles lol. I'm really hoping I don't have to be induced and she'll come on her own.
