I went to schedule an appointment today for a 3d/4d u/s, and I thought that you could get good pics anywhere after 22 weeks. Well she told me that I had to wait until I was 26 weeks. So now I have to wait until September:( I know that there was another post where someone had asked about the u/s, and people were saying you could go really early, but nope there's a small windown b/w 26-34 weeks where you'll get the best pivs. Of course you can go earlier if you just want gender determination. ↓

i went for my first u/s and they said i was 3months and 3days my baby was jumping around and wouldnt stop playing it was so amazing to see this! im due on 20th jan im 19 my first baby so excted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ↑

with the 3d/4d ultrasound you can get a good pic as early as 16 weeks but most doctors like to wait until at least 20 weeks. My doctor told me at my last visit that he likes to wait until 22 weeks to do an ultrasound so now I too have to wait until September. I'm a little upset because I haven't had a single ultrasound as of yet. To find out gender it is better to go in anytime from 20 weeks or later. ↑

I really wish I could get one of the 3d/4d ultrasounds, because I've seen so many other people have them and they are certainly something I'd like to witness firsthand. My doctors office just sends you for the regular old (albeit high-resolution) ultrasound at 18 weeks. This is just one of the black and white deals where they send you home with 3 or 4 tiny pictures that the rest of your family squints at while trying to make out what is where.

I was about 2 weeks further along than they thought when I had the ultrasound though, so I'm pretty sure they can determine the sex much earlier than that with a 3d or 4d image. ↑

They can determine the gender, if the baby will cooperate as early as 16 weeks. I had a regular u/s at 18 weeks, and found out I was having a girl. I want really good pics with the 4d u/s; like the ones where you can see her face and all her features. That's why they want you to wait until the beginning of your 3rd trimester before they'll give you a 4d u/s for anything besides gender determination. I've called 2 places and that's what they told me. ↑
