You know i am going crazy not working lately...as much as i like the rest...and break...i am really getting bored

I'm feeling fine - which is strange. You'd think I'd be in some sort of pain or more uncomfortable.... Making it very hard to stay sitting on my ass.

I am more aware of my contractions though, because now I know they aren't just harmless BH. That part is tripping me out a bit. I know that many women are in latent labor for a month or more before actually giving birth - so I'm not getting all worked up about it.

I wish I could say that momo :) I am sooo ready to be on leave, but I plan to work up until I have the baby. I don't want to waste any of my leave time.

I'm getting really excited about seeing the kids open their presents. Less than 12 hours from now we will hit the Christmas peak. Makes all that budgeting, shopping, wrapping, decorating, etc. worth it!

so do you feel the contractions or do you only know they are contractions from what they told you...did you just always assume they were BH?

It seems like my BH keep coming more and more every day and they are hurting? I don't recall this with my son

I am glad that they figured out the problem so that they can manage it better. Did they give you anything to stop the contractions?

I worked until i gave birth last time...but this time my pregnacy came at an akward time...when i was gradutating cosmo school...and my son had heart surgery and so before i knew it i got big and couldn't really do hair all day preggo....

yeah ew to the perm solution with morning sickness....

I don't feel any pain - just a tightening and releasing. I didn't even realize I was having them 6 minutes apart because if I'm not paying attention I just ignore it. I assumed they were BH, which the nurse told me was perfectly reasonable... seeing as most women with real contractions that close together are hurting.

I was always told that if you can ignore, or talk through, a contraction then it didn't count - and must be BH.

Thats what i thought too...i guess everyone is different though....so how are you suppose to know if your okay if your contractions don't hurt to bad...

They didn't try to stop the contractions because it doesn't seem like they are working on my cervix too quickly. If my cervix effaces any more or dilates then I'm sure they will stop them. I get checked again on Thursday.

well that is not true. They start out much more mild and they are real for sure. By the time they are so bad that you can't talk you better have your ass at the hospital :)

I had bad morning sickness both times....though with my 4 year old i ended up in the hospital with hypermesis..this time i think i just felt horrible all day and all over...yet i want more children...those suckers

at least you will see the dr once a week now. It will be a burdon, but you will know that the baby is safe.

I'm not sure how I'm supposed to know... but I have strict orders to go straight to labor and delivery if I have even one painful contractions, if I start leaking amnio fluid again, or if I feel funny at all.

I never went into labor with my son...he was a week half late and went breech at 41.5 weeks..so i just had c-section...and same with this guy scheduled c-section...

well you shouldn't take it lightly...and its best to be prepared for preterm labor

I am really curious to know what I did that caused the sac to leak in the first place. I wasn't doing anything strenuous at all - but I wouldn't think a hole (even a tiny would) could just appear.... so I must have done something to break it, or the baby did something.

Name: momo | Date: Dec 22nd, 2006 8:01 PM
I know it just happens....and its not uncommon...they usually heal if they are pinhole..but you have to rest...

Name: nicole miller | Date: Dec 22nd, 2006 8:01 PM
oops... I don't know what that typo was all about.. lol... That should have been "a tiny one" not "would".

OMG I though I was in labor every day with jeremiah. I was sure that every pain was a contraction LOL but when I was really in labor I jsut thought that I needed to go poop LOL I spent well over an hour on the toiled and then went back to bed. it too a while for it to dawn on me OMG I think this is labor.

I don't know what would cause a small leak, but Iam going to do some research and try to find out.

Name: momo | Date: Dec 22nd, 2006 8:05 PM
lol too funny! you know i never though i would be sad to not have to go through labor....but after seeing my friend after giving birth...i was a bit jealous....and now i am kinda sad....well not sad...but not looking forward to another cesction

OMG I just did a search to see what could cause a tear in the sac and I ran accross this story that is written like a child was telling the story. I am balling my eyes out right now.

Okay, I'm back. Did I write in the other post what Paul did when I called him last night?
