So...at 25 weeks I finally got told the sex of my little baby!
It's a girl and I was so happy!
I know these threads are boring! But I was so excited that I went out and blew 100 quid on clothes! LOL!
I could tell before the sonographer asked me if I wanted to know. I was thinkin'...um when is she gonna tell me?! I already know.
Lol.
But I think she was just making sure!
He measure almost 27 weeks!
I'm so delighted.
My partner wants to call her Mia but I like Skye.
What do y'all think? ↓

When I had my ultrasound my little ladies legs were spread eagel. I was pretty darn sure it was a girl and I kept waiting for her to tell us and she waited until the very end. The whole time my dad and husband were arguing on whether or not it was a girl or boy (my husband swore he only made boys) and since it was funny I just didn't say anything, I let the ultrasound tech tell us.
One of my friends baby's name is Sky Eden, and her whole family teased her about naming her that, I thought it was pretty but apparently they didn't like it. I like both Sky and Mia. ↑ |

I prefer Skye myself. It's so pretty. But he kinda goes into a huff when I say it because we agreed he could name her if it was a girl. Lol.
Her legs were crunched up near her belly so we could see it was a girl perfectly. :)
Is it normal for them to look fat.

Yeah it's my first. And it's gonna be so odd because I don't know anybody...and I mean anybody that's had a girl!
My sister had three sons...and various other people have had boys.
Even when I had a stay in hospital there were boys in my ward! Haha.
I really don't know how to raise a girl! Or even change her nappy! I'd be so scared I'll hurt her or won't clean her properly and she'll get an infection.

Congrats Lola! It's always so exciting to learn if you're having a boy or girl. We did the same thing when we were pregnant with Ethanael, that is went out and bought boy things, it was so much fun.
I like Mia. Skye is pretty but in the Uk, it reminds me of the cable company. Mia sounds more like a classic name yet trendy and unique. ↑ |
