Has the chinese calendar been accurate for any of you in predicting your babies gender? It has for a couple of my friends.

With my first the chinese calendar said that I was going to have a boy and I did. This time around it says I am going to be having a girl but we'll have to wait and see until August as to whether this is true or not.

With my daughter and my soon to be lil boy it was right. The one where you had to add 9 months to your b day and go from there that is. There is different ones

Most of the chinese calendars on the website tell you that you should use your lunar age but don't tell you how to calculate it. If the correct lunar age is used then the calendar is over 90% accurate. For example your lunar age (depending on the calendar being used) is either your age 9 months later than conception or 2 years older and the lunar month for conception run - lunar month 1=Feb, lunar month 2=Mar, therefore lunar month 5 would be June not May like most people think. That said, the calendar has been accurate for all of my kids.
This site does the calculation for you:

I went to the labor of love web site & it said I should have had a boy... it was wrong I had a girl.
It seems that the calandar is baised only on the mom, & yet it's the dad's semen that determines the sex of the baby....

I use http://www.webwomb.com/chinesechart.htm .. it is extremely accurate with my kids, friends' kids, my moms kids etc... I know some calendars figure differently than this but not one of the genders I looked up were wrong. As long as you read the instructions carefully!!
