Ok, this is for everyone who has a circumcised son...
My son is almost 5 months old and he was done less than 24 hours after he was born. We haven't had any problems with it, but the past few days my husband and I have noticed when we are cleaning him in the tub, that the skin is sticking in one spot. Almost like it is growing back. We pull it off and it doesn't seem to bother him, I was just wondering if there is anything we are supposed to be doing... I am calling the doctor who did it, but he isn't in until 1pm and it's on 8:45.

I had my son circumcised when he was less than a day old and he never had any sticking like you are describing. If you have some vaseline, I would put a little bit on it or on the front of his diaper to help it keep from sticking until you talk to his doctor.

randi my best friend had to have her son re-done when was 1 yr old because it did it did the same thing, I actally brought it to her aatn. I was babysitting him and I changed his diaper and noticed that I had to pull some foreskin up to completly clean his wee-wee and I told her to have it checked it didn't look right and sure enough it had grown back, it's worth having it looked at

So we just got back. It was starting to re attach itself a little. Luckily it wasn't too bad. His doctor just ripped it. Poor Kaden screamed and screamed. He is fine now and sleeping and it never bled.

Thanks Nikki.

He didn't say. Apparently it can be a common problem. What he didn't understand is that we had it done 5 months ago and this just started happening. At least he didn't need to have it re done. I was so scared of that.

I'm glad my hubby keeps knocking me up with girls:) I'm Jewish so circumcision is in order if we ever have a boy.
