I have an 11 month old Black Lab pup who has been the center of mine and my husbands attention since April. Now that I'm pregnant she seems to act JEALOUS! Like when my husband kisses my tummy or rubs it she gets in the way and wants to be pet. Do you think she can sense I'm pregnant? ↓

| I've read that some pets (dogs and cats) and small children can sometime just know when your pregnant, even before you sometimes know. So she probably does know that your pregnant. ↑ |

| YES!! Dogs know when u r preggers..trust me..I have 3 and they all know it...they will act funny...some get overly protective over the female that is preggy..mines has been very protective since ive gotten pregnant.. =D ↑ |

| my dog back at my mothers house, get lays his head on my stomach and if someone goes to touch me he jumps up quick so i think they know, i mean they know when its thats time of the month ↑ |

| dogs and cats both are very intune with things like this. we have three dogs and two cats. my cats are totally aware of the pregnancy as well as our great dane. the two jack russells are a bit different. the oldest one knows my tummy has gotten bigger and that it moves on its own. and the baby jack just has no clue, but he is still a puppy. ↑ |

| Well thank you. I thought I was going crazy! She is protective of me. Like she won't let me walk her at night. It's weird but. I remember when she was first spayed (May 06') The day after she came home, I went to walk her and I sprained my ankle and feel into the pricker bushes and she layed in the prickers until i got up. And when i was ok, she braced herself to help me up. At this point she was only 4 months old! Sorry I just thought I would tell everyone about my wonderful puppy! ↑ |

| She sounds like a very sweet pup. My best friend has a black lab and her husband and her love him. But I think she wants to boot him out of the house when the baby gets here. He's really big and sheds a lot. ↑ |

| I think they can. My dog is a little over a year old and ever since I've been pregnant, she's been VERY protective of me and doesnt' ever leave my side (unless she has to) If I'm laying on the couch or something, she'll jump up and either lay with her head on my belly or "hug" my belly with her paws. Crazy huh? ↑ |

Yes I do believe dogs can sence these things.....
If your dog is getting jealous.....you need to slowly give your dog less attention from now until baby is born.....this will ease his jealousy some when born ↑ |

| YES they do (: my fiance has a little dog and hes constantly laying by my stomach like protecting me. If anyone even his parents come up to me like theyre going to atack me just playing around he gets so protective and bits them lol not to mention hes constantly smelling and sniffing where the baby is (: its soo neat! & i have 2 pugs and both of them always smell my stomach and when you say "baby" one of them turns her head sideways lol like she knows what were talking about.. its so cute! ↑ |
