| With my first baby I was dialated to 3 for almost 4 weeks and 80% efaced for the last 3 weeks. Did the doctor say if the babys have moved into the birth canal? If so what station are they at? Also my sister was on bed rest for 6 weeks with her last baby because she kept going into labor. They were able to give her meds to keep her from having the baby. They held off until 2 days shy of 38 weeks. Are you having contractions? If so the doctor can give you different med to help stop the contractions and also to help the babies lungs mature.
