Hi everyone, now I am worried about a friend's comment. If Estrogen is high and you take the pregnancy test, it could show "positive" even if you are NOT pregnant. IS THIS TRUE??? I was excited to see a doctor tomorrow, but now my hope is gone. Please help.

The only thing that would effect a pregnancy test (at least on the positive side of things) is an Hcg injection. Nothing else can make a line (even a faint one) appear. The only other scenerio is a faulty test, which almost never happens. Your estrogen level at the time you test wont make a difference. (how would you know that you have high estrogen anyhow?)

A pregnancy test measure hcg not estrogen. So know you are pregnant. I am sure the Dr. will confirm this for you. Don't worry so much and remember even though friends mean well, they are not always right.
