So, I'm just curious. I either had early pregnancy symptoms, I think, or I'm further along than I think. Has anyone else had symptoms this early. So, my last period began Sept 3. Starting about September 18, I became very sensitive to smells. Starting right about then, I also uncharacteristically became prone to gagging--smells, pictures, the moive Jackass, my toothbrush, all made me gag. Then, on September 29 I gagged without any sort of cue and threw up. Tested pregant that night. I've been deailng with morning sickness ever since. And it seems to get a little worse every week. This is my worst week--having trouble holding anything down. I think I'm about in my sixth or seventh week. Anwyay, here's my question:

1.) Did anyone else start geting gagging, nausea, and super smell as early in thier pregnancy as I did?

2) Might I be further along than I think I am? I remember having a period September 3. I didn't notice anything different about it. So, I must be about seven weeks pregnant, right?

Boy, I hope I am further along though, because from everything I read it says that it should keep getting worse for a few more weeks before it gets better. I don't know if I can take anything worse than this. So, tell me, what do you think? Am I seven weeks or is there any chance that I am further along? I go to the docs for the first time next Monday, so I suppose I'll find out then.

You would be 6 weeks according to what information that you have given. However I am trying to do the mathin accordance with what you are saying and when your period was and it doesn't really add up. Because if you are regular (28 days) you wouldn't have ovulated until the 17th. I would expect the possibility of implantation bleeding but I have never heard of having actually pregnancy symptoms such as you described. At the same time with my second I actually started feeling as if I was in a boat on really wavey water a week after I ovulated.

I had really bad morning sickness that started around 6 weeks and lasted up until my 20th week. I lost a whole bunch of weight and had to quit work and everything... my earliest symptom was pain in my left side at week 4. I had a cyst on my ovary. Good luck with the morning sickness and congrats on your pregnancy!!

Oh almost forgot. It is common for you to have these symptoms starting as early as the 29th or around this time and still continuing. If your gagging while brushing your teeth try switching to a toddler size toothbrush. I found that this helped out alot.

Hi Stephaniek,

sounds like you are 2 days further along then me - in that case you would be 6 weeks gone. I first got nausea 2 weeks after conception, which I also thought was not supposed to start until 6 weeks - but it started then and has gotten gradually worse, now lasts all day. Everyone is different and some people are more sensitive to the change in hormones then others. Also try drinking chamomile tea - I started using it on Tuesday and although the nausea has not completley disappeared, it makes it very manageable, also eat small snacks during the day, even when I feel to sick to eat - once I have got it down I feel 10 times better. Stick in there - if you ever need to talk - feel free to shoot me a message and I have a journal http://www.babycrowd.com/jr/online/veronim/ if you would like to check it out :-)
