So Coartney had Braden, of course. But I also know 3 other people who have had their babies in the last week (or so).
My friend Rachel had her whoping 10lb 8oz girl on April 12th. A record birth weight at her hospital. She was 23 inches long. WOW
A friend of a friend had their baby boy on April 18th. He was an even bigger 10lb 13oz.
Wednesday, a teacher at the local high school who I saw at my doctor's office was about to head over to the hospital to have her baby - so I'm sure she has had her baby by now.
WHERES MY BABY! With all of these 10lb babies, I am wondering how much mine will come out being. An ultrasound at 36 weeks showed that she weighed 6lb 5oz. Well if you consider the chance if it being 15% off (either way) and the usual 1/2lb per week babies should gain. She could be 9 1/2lbs already! ↓

| I havent tried that, no. I actually havent tried too much yet. I had planned on trying the castor oil, but cant get the guts up to do it yet. I was going to do it today, but I had WAY too much to eat lastnight and I would rather take it on a day that would be less... well messy. I've been drinking raspberry tea. And i've tried the nupple stimulation. I dont know how that is working though because its supposed to cause contractions but I have yet to feel ANYTHING other than sore nipples. So thats probably going to stop until i've got a baby to do it for me ;) ↑ |

| I have heard a LOT of different stories on castor oil. The one thing I have heard is that is it safe, just not exactly the best feeling in the world. It's supposed to be safe as long as you drink enough fluids and make sure you take care of yourself. ↑ |

| I wish i could have a lot of sex. My man wont do it anymore. He is paranoid about hurting the baby so it just doesnt happen anymore. For a while (sorry to be too graphic) we used the "other one" but now thats stopped as well. I am however playing with my little vibrating rubber friend a lot hoping that the orgasm will help. LOL. Come on could you come up with a better reason to make yourself feel good? I also bought the Castor Oil already. I bought it with the idea that after my doc. appointment wednesday, I would take it. But I havent yet. I think I am going to try to get up the nerve to do it tomorrow. I'm going to hold off on eating WAY too much today so its not that much of a deal tomorrow if I do actually take it. ↑ |

| I had my baby Tuesday too... and it was actually a new moon. They say new and full are good for bringing babies! My doc estimated her weight at 7 lbs at my 38 wk appt...so she would have been 8 by the time she was born....and she was only 6 lbs 9 oz. So you could get lucky! I told my doc I was really glad he was wrong! ↑ |

| m25...it wasn't too bad. There was a while that I was in bed so they could monitor baby that I was struggling, and almost asked for the epi, but once I could get up and move, it helped a lot and I was able to make it through. I was only in labor 7 1/2 hrs...and pushed for 22 min. My doctor and the nurse were impressed that a first time mom did so well! ↑ |

| I know -- B ABIES EVERYWHERE!!! I was hoping that New Moon would do something for me but I am still preggers and waiting....A week ago was in no rush and now I am like WHERE ARE YOU CHILD. I had to be hooked up to the fetal monitor on Friday since I hit 41 weeks but they say everything looks great for the baby and no reason to induce just yet. Which is good because I don't want to start inducing at 0 cm. They say your odds of c-section, forceps, vacuum all go up. I go back Monday to be checked and have baby on fetal monitor. I'm just hoping for some dilation. Even if it were .25 of a damn centimeter. Ha ha ha, ↑ |
