Well my kiddos are back in school, they started back on Monday......I only have one kid at home now....
Morgan is in 4th
Jeff is on 3rd
Brittney is in 1rst
Jacob is in pre-school

I thought Jacob was gonna cry when i left him, on his orientation he wouldn't even look at his teacher he hid behind my leg....and turned his face away......On monday his first day he wouldn't let go of my leg.....but they eat lunch as soon as he gets there so the teacher urged him to go in the boys bathroom alone to wash his hands for lunch and had me sneak off......I felt bad doing it that way bt when I picked him up she said he didn't even cry. Yesterday their second day was easier, but he said he still hates school although he asked me 150 times yesterday was it time for him to go to school yet.....he tried to tell me the only reason he wanted to go was to have his pizza and brownie then he was coming home. But when I picked him up he was so excited showing and telling me everything and the teacher say he LOVED the playdough so good times!

Ugh speaking of school gotta go drop them off now!

Things are going so well so far......my 4yr old even claims to have a g/f already! I told him he can't have a g/f though because I'm his g/f!!!! The older kids love their teachers and are having a blast w/ their friends, although Morgan got tripped at recess yesterday and came home w/ ginormous bandaids on both knees and a huge knot and bruise between her eyes. But she said she's ok so, all is well

M25-Did you start babysitting the baby yet? I *think* you said once the kids are back in school that's when the sitting would start. How is that doing (If its even going at all)

Yanick the baby was born with some complications, and the mother will stay with him till at least mid. sept. now unless she needs to longer, which is fine with me.....I volunteer ALOT during the school year and I actually have a program I took over this year which I am in the process of getting up and running, and will need to find other parent volunteers and show them what and how to do it...........so this gives me time to get those things in order, plus the first month of school is a mad house with papers, functions, ect. ect. my hands are full for the moment...........which is prob. a good thing we also put the red light on opening another business at the moment.

emma starts preschool on sept. 3...i'm so sad about it! i'm not ready for her to be a big kid at all! and i'm really nervous because due to construction they aren't going to be able to have parents night or anything so we wont see the inside of the school or meet her teacher until her first day!

Yanick, I love it, and if you like it already you'll have a ball when your kids are in school, I've volunteered in my kids classes since they have started school, joined the pto well it's called booster club here......I'm doing this program now, and I am room mom for the 3 older kids class room which I have also done the last 3 yrs. But the more I get in school the harder it becomes, I organize each childs party but can only attend one and pop in on the others a time or two. But this year will be even more of a challenge because my pre-schooler is in a dif. school 7 min. away I can't just walk down the hall to attend his, so I will have to let him choose which of his I will go to and miss the rest and try to split the others between the other kids, I actually still owe my oldest a lunch because the one I was supposed to help at in her class last year I couldn't because the baby was sick :(

But you have to watch the pto and booster I learned ealy on the more you do the more they want you to do........the first 2 yrs I was affraid to say no and had to rush activities with my own kids so I could help out........I decided that was enough of that......I pick a few and stand firm when I say no once I've done what I've volunteered for, because I wanna spend time with my kids at the functions as well like most of the other parents. So yeah I strongly suggest not being affraid to say no.......and this is not just one school this was their old school new school and schools that my friends kids attend as well.

Emma, it's hard the first day or so, I know when my oldest started kindergarden my second started pre-school at the same time.........it was my first time being w/ out them due to school, and I didn't even know what to do w/ out them, I avoided going home all day till they were out of school, I found lots of erans to run to keep me busy. I think it upsets the parents more than the child, esp. if the child is upset at first they actually get over it quick......some cry the first few days not to go but they get used to it, my son drives me crazy til 11:30 about can he go yet, lol, and he was very scared and nervous at first! Now he loves it

Yeah Yanick she had a fast birth I guess and it gave the baby some complications.........she said she didn't feel well and knew something felt bad so she went to the er and was 10 cm's dilated........she had him 20 min after she arrived.........must be rough, lol not feeling the first 9 cm's dilating!

my kiddo isn't going to school but I am!!!

I start going back to college on Wednesday I going to get my teaching degree and to become an elementary school teacher!!! I will only take me um...4 years lol. It will be easier once Brooke is 2 and I put her in daycare. Anyway wish me luck too, I am incredibly nervous, but I am only taking 3 classes this semester, 1 of which is a required PE class (yuck, I hate to sweat lol) so that makes it a really really light course load!

Hey Good for you NIkkis!!! Congrats! I am studying online to take the praxis test, so I can become a para when Emilee starts school, but I have a while so no rush...........but omg how you forget the stuff you never use.............lol I am having the most trouble with exponents and algerbra.........lol I did this in 7th grade but as fast as school moves now Morgan can prob. teach me next year, lol!!!! I am just taking it slow moving at my own pace, the test that you have to pass is free so if I do this and don't use it it's cool, I will just have the extra learning which never hurts. I just choose this because I volunteer at the school anyhow and I wanted something that had my kids school hours and vacations when I did decide to go back to work.

But being a teacher is way better than a para and better pay, lol.
