Oh! And I'm Vegetarian ... The amount of land and water used to maintain the meat industry makes it a major contributor to climate change, not to mention life exports etc.

In fact, A 2006 United Nations report found that cattle-rearing generated more greenhouse gases than transportation.

So this is probably the greenist (is there such a word?) thing I do.

we buy organic fruits and vegtables when available
I use organic cleaning products
we use energy saving light bulbs
I make brooke's baby food
we recycle metals, in fact we own a business that recycles metals
we turn off lights and fans when no one is in the room
we grow some fruit and plan on starting a garden to grow our own vegtables
we wear a lot of clothes made with organic cotton
we use recycled paper
use organic baby wash

I think thats it...

So far: low watt bulbs, turning off electricity when not in use (we turn off the water heater for all but a few hours a day and unplug all unnecessary electrical stuff), wash clothes in cold water.

This topic has actually been on my mind lately. I have started to use all natural/organic health and beauty products, we have also switched our babys wash and lotion to all natural ones. My hubby wants to start using natural detergent, and I think I'd like to begin to recycle. This actually all started cause my sister in law is all into this sort of thing, and she got us interested.....Good luck in your endevours ladies!
