I had a girlfriend whose baby was breech on Monday at her week 39 checkup, she was scheduled for a c section (the next day) on Tuesday she checked in at the hospital and low and behold baby was head down, so anythings possible, think positive ask your doctor about ways to encourage your baby to turn on his own, (ie heating pad on lower abdomen, head phones low in belly, exercises)

Most doctors won't let a first time mom deliver a breech baby vaginally. So if he doesn't turn, you may need a c-section. However, he may still turn! Good luck!

You baby still could turn in the next week or two. If the baby is not head down on the day that you go into labor there is a good chance that you'll end up having a c-section (I had one with my first and am having a planned with with my second). But just keep thinking positive because again he/she could still turn in the next two weeks.

My friend had gone in at 39 weeks and her little girl was head down. The day that she went into labor, he little girl had turned and was now breech.
