Hi everybody! I miss talking to you all. Anyhoo, my family gave me a baby shower for Chloe this past Sunday. We had a blast. The food was all homemade and was so yummy! I never got to really enjoy my food b/c I was so distracted and people kept pulling me in all directions. Got lots of great gifts-money, Target gift cards, Hello Kitty humidifier, Leapfrog toys, lots of clothes and shoes/booties, onesies, a scrapbook, a shopping cart cover, a wipe warmer, a lot of Classic Pooh blankets and outfits and receiving blankets, photo album, pampers, toiletries, Red Cross grooming kit, Eddie Bauer backseat mirror, a security blankie, bibs, hats, onesies, towel sets, Avent pacifiers, a ballerina outfit and pillow set, Avent bottles, teethers, and lots of other goodies. Yes, i'm very grateful for everything, but tell me this......
WHY THE HELL DON'T PEOPLE USE YOUR REGISTRY(s)?????? They never do. Only one person used my registry at the shower. Everyone's invite all had the little inserts for where I was registered and they still ignored it. Arrrrrgggggggg! I hate that. The same thing happened at my son's baby shower almost 5 years ago. Luckily, alot of the stuff that I didn't need or want, came with gift receipts, so I was able to take it back. I also had enough money and gift cards to purchase Chloe's Peg Perego infant carseat off of Target.com. I didn't have to use any of my own personal money for that. But, it was cool. Todd and Christian also had fun. I'm glad it's over. I will post some pics of everything on my journal soon.
Oh, I got all my hair cut off the day before the shower-8/25. It's like the Rihanna haircut. I look and feel so much better! If any of you have seen me with longer hair before, you know what I'm talking about. :)
So, now it's just countdown time until 9/27!
I think Logan is due now, right? She should be like 39 weeks or something like that. Did she have her baby boy yet? ↓

Wow! You are so close. I remember when you were ttc. It's going by so fast.
I don't think Cindy has had her baby yet... I think she is due in a couple days. She is on myspace and there was a bulletin a little while ago saying only 7 days until her due date. Little Logan should be here soon.

no one use my registry either it made me so mad i got so many duplicate items, 4 baby bath tubs 5 robes hardly any diapers it sucked and when i went to return them all to target and wal mart, you are oly allowed 2 returns per year! so i still have so much crap that has tags and the he will never use, so im going to see if a fw of our friend asre having boys so im giving some of it to them ↑ |

hey coart-coart. make sure you keep in touch when you get there. i'm so glad you and hubby came to some kind of agreement. ya'll ARE staying together, right? is Braden a fat boy, or what? lol. i haven't been on myspace in a longgggg time so i haven't seen recent pics of him.
randi, yes, i remember those frustrating days too! i am glad that is over with. i will never forget my little one that grew inside of me for over 2 months. now, i'm almost ready to give birth to another one! i feel really blessed. and congrats on your #2! how far are you? You didn't waste no time, did you miss thang! lol.
zoey, yes, i had the same problem at target. i had already reached my no-receipt-return limit, but they DID say that i could use hubby's ID and return the stuff. so, i just have to take him back with me this time. so, why didn't that work for you? they told you that you couldn't do it? YOU CAN! ↑ |

| well at his 4 month appt on the 20th he was 14lbs and 27 inches. not fat at all, very lean and slender, like evelyn, mallorys little girl. hes using his walker and everything now. and we're staying together to try to work on things, i mean you cant say something has failed if you put forward no effort, right? ↑ |

Tasha, hi just seen your post, I am due anytime now really, I am now dilated to 2 and still at 60 percent effaced, going for an ultrasound tomorrow Friday because the doctor thinks he is way big, we hope that I am all belly and he is a small baby.
My next prenatal will be after the ultrasound on Friday, not same day but I mean on Tuesday, then if he is to big then I will be induced on Thursday Sept 6. ↑ |

I wasnt gonna have a baby shower so i've been buying alot of stuff and hubby kept saying, dont buy anymore, just wait trust me. I found out yesterday my mom and sisters in law have been planning a baby shower for me for sept. 8th!!! The only reason they told me was because they didnt want me to show up a mess, since i havent dressed up in a while. So im looking forward to that.
About the baby registries, one of my SIL wanted me to go register, but i KNOW nobody uses the registry, so why even bother? I guess some, or should i say MOST, people think it's rude. I know my side of the family does.
