This sounds stupid--I'm sure its common knowledge to most of you but I have never had heartburn like with this preg. Can I take Tums or polaids..or anything other than chugging $20 worth of milk a day?!.....
If heartburn means hairy--this baby is a sasquatch!

Cool thanks--forgot to ask my doc--heartburn is killer, crazy hairy child!

i was prescribed zantac 150 lol but some doctors are asses.. and yes rolaid soft chews, cherry flavor are good, but honestly dont work .. if you have bad heartburn, nothing really helps, now if its just moderate you should be fine.

My doc told me at the very beginning that you can't have too many tums ... I guess because of all the calcium in them. I've been taking them for about 3 months for heartburn, and they help a little bit, but if it's really bad ask your doc what else you can take.

i rec. the chewy rolaids .. the chalky ness of the tums made me throw up sooo badly but the vomit wasnt acidic so i suppose that was a plus..

milk comes up thick like ice cream.. trust me, ive started writing a book on what tastes the same the second time around and what not to eat.. they say the cycle of heartburn and nausea starts when ur stomach gets too empty.. thats why they suggest snacks inbetween meals. ooo red spaghetti sauce def no fun, flamin hot cheetos OH NO.. lol haha ive puked i think everything.. rice hurts, gets stuck in throat, so does pizza, and hasbrowns and eggs, i choke alot lol ..

On the packet of tums it says that it is safe to use in the second trimester.. I don't know if you have rennie's there but they are good also...

Ugh.

Heartburn is the worst...I had it from the very start to the point where I ended up staying awake all night moaning and whinging. Lol. It only went about three weeks ago.

But thank God it did.

I tried not to take anything....But it always gets bad.

I didn't even know whether it was safe or not but I was so desparate for relief!

man.. i dont know how you hold out on taking something for relief lola! it just gets to the point for me with heartburn.. i'd jump off a bridge if it meant taking my heartburn away lol.

I know!

But I get addicted to Rennie's. They're so nice. I can't just take one. Lol.

Even when I was younger I would steal my Dad's pack and eat them all in my bedroom.

Haha.
