Things with my mom haven't changed. I haven't talked to her since last time, when I told her I was pregnant. I have decided to let her call me from now on - and hold out judgement until the baby shower. My mother has never met my in-laws (plus, my father, who divorced her 6 years ago will be there), so how she acts at the shower will pretty much determine if she sees the baby or not. I am half expecting a spectacle of sorts... but I will give her the benefit of the doubt, and if she can act like a civil human being for 3 hours, then maybe I'll start putting in effort again.
I go back for another ultrasound Monday - and I have a strong feeling it is twins. They will tell me then. ↑ |
Yeah that sounds like a good idea. Your shower is suppose to be your day so hopefully she will behave herself. It's not like she needs to socialized with him, but she can be civil for at least 3 hours.
They say that 71% of the time what a woman feel she is having is what she is having. You had said that with your first ultrasound you thought you saw a figure 8. So there is a good chance that there is two. In the beginning I had a feeling that I might also be pregnant with twin, but I think I've convinced myself now that there is only one..LOL. But we'll see.
