well, right now i stay at home with my 2 yr old, so i'm going to work up until i go into labor...LOL : ) with him, i worked up until i was 38 weeks, b/c my dr started streching out my cervix. some people work until they actually go into labor, and some take off a week or two before. it all depends on the person and how comfortable they are....good luck!! ↑ |
My last day of work is on the 28th and I will be just about 35 weeks at that point.
I don't think I could make it through March. I'm so exhausted at work as is. ↑ |
I'm not returning to work after I have my baby so I might take off 2-3 weeks before I'm due, I'm just ready to be done with this job. But then I don't want to go crazy sitting at home doing nothing for 3 weeks either. ↑ |
I am working until I go into labor LOL ↑ |
I would work until you go into labor because you can go crazy at home waiting for the baby to come. ↑ |
I want all of my time off to be with the baby ↑ |
I'm working as long as a can. I can work remotely from home so I'll probably do that til my water breaks ;) But I'd like to be out of the office by week 38. NOt because I need it but because this place makes me crazy. ↑ |
When I was pregnant with Sophie I was teaching 4th grade and it was really hard at the end. I stopped working at 36 weeks, but I had really bad swelling and my doctor said that I needed to be off my feet more (not easy to do in a room of 26 10 year olds!) I used the time to really pamper myself and enjoy time with my husband since I knew our lives would never be the same! ↑ |
Well do what you think is best for you, if you think you need time to prepare and rest before baby then that is what you should do, I personally worked until 9 days before she was born and I seriously didnt think that I would make it but I could have worked all the way until the day I had her and been fine! So do whatever you think, good luck! ↑ |
I'm planning on working until about 2 wks before my due date -- I'm on my feet a lot and it's getting hard already (I'm almost 32 wks)...but I just want some time to make sure everything's ready :) ↑ |
