I didn't mean to scare you when I had mentioned c-section. I said there was a possibility. There is still plenty of time for the baby to drop which mean that there is still a good chance that you will be able to have a vaginal birth. In some women, especially if this is a first pregnancy, the baby doesn't drop until labor has started. When you doctor told you that the baby hasn't drop he/she was just saying that the baby wasn't in position yet for delivery. You baby could actually be dropping just slowly.
However, is your baby drops and he/she is in the breech position you chance of having a c-section are likely. Because of the risks involve with delivering a breech babies, alot of doctors will not even attempt to allow you to deliver vaginally. ↑ |
ehtan u didnt scare me,,,,you made me happy ! maybe i prefer a c-section to avoid labor pain,,,thats why i am asking you if my baby didnt drop, there is no induction?(i dont want to have induction),,,they will make c-section? ↑ |
morethan likely a doctor will only do a c-section if ABSOLUTELY necessary. I begged my doctor to do one when I was induced and wasnt progressing. What Ethans mom said is right. It is always a possibility but Doctors usually wont do it unless there is a medical reason not because he/she hasnt dropped. my first didnt drop till I was well into labor. ↑ |
i dont understand,,,so if i didnt go into labor,,and my baby didnt drop,,,they will induce or make c-section??????????/ ↑ |
Your doctor will most like induce and see if that doesn't help the baby drop. Now if the baby drops and is breech you'll more then likely have a c-section. ↑ |
They won't give you a c-section more then likely unless your baby is breech. ↑ |
