sorry I said it really doesnt feel like movements... I meant to say it really DOES feel like movements. ↑ |
It takes a long time for your uterus to shrink down all the way. Breastfeeding helps it to shrink faster. Sometimes you can feel it, feels like twitching, can mimic the early movements of a pregnancy. Sometimes can even feel a bit like sexual excitement (which freaks some women out b/c they'll feel it while they are breastfeeding and they get weirded out b/c they don't want to think about their baby feeding as being sexually exciting). Of course, that's not what it is, it is just the uterus slowly contracting and shrinking back down to its tee-tiny (almost) pre-pregnancy size (it will NEVER be the same again; it is possible to tell not only that a woman has had babies but how many babies she's had by looking at her bones and uterus). If the movements get bigger, take a home pregnancy test if you think you're pregnant again! Good luck. ↑ |
LOL, ur not going crazy! Before i had my son 2 1/2 years ago, i wanted to stay pregnant cause i knew i was gonna miss the movements (plusi had no discomforts whatsoever, unlike this one, hehe). When he was about 2 months, i started to feel the movements too...i kinda liked the feeling cause i had my baby AND i felt him moving even though he was already outside. Like K8 said, it's the uterus shrinking...dont freak out!!! ↑ |
