Name: melmoney [ Original Post ] ...for starting the confessions thread. It's so much fun. I laughed, I cried (from the laughing) and then I laughed some more. It's good to hear that everyone else has secrets and guilty pleasures as well. Also, I would like to say how much I appreciate this board and everyone on here. It's comforting to know that I can ask anything about anything and nobody will laugh or judge. It's nice to be able to get answers to all my questions without having to run to the doctor every time I freak out about something, but it's all nice to hear that maybe what I'm experiencing is something that the doctor should be made aware of. I appreciate all the support from everybody. I, personally, haven't had many complications during my pregnancy, but I've read the threads from those who have and it's a wonderful thing to see all the positive and uplifting responses. I pray for all of you going through those complications, I pray for all of you having smooth pregnancies and I pray for all of you who are trying to get pregnant. So thank you to everyone who've helped answer my questions. Than you to those who have helped brighten my day with laughter. Thank you to those who are supportive and uplifting. Thank you to those who read my vents and rants and understand my hormonal imbalances. And thank you to those who ditch work with me to chat about life. Thank you all!! ↓

I'll second that! I think that's the first time that I've posted on here saying that I'm an alcoholic and a heroine addict (recovered, of course.) and not had a single person judge or assume that I used when I was pregnant or anything like that. Very good medium for honesty - because EVERYONE was equally guilty - instead of equally saint like. I am really glad that this forum is here too. I don't even remember how I found it, but I've been on here since a couple month before I got pregnant and I'm sure I'll stay on here for a long while. You girls are really great. ↑

I totally agree. I was so happy to hear that others could post honestly about their life and none were met with judgements that says alot about the women on here. I think that the confessions thread was great we could laugh at our selves, but also express some real hardships that some are facing and need to know that they are supported. ↑

Speaking of the women here, I've been checking out some other forums the past couple of days and have noticed that there are some really juvenile people out there. It makes me sad cause we're suppose to be mothers and mothers in training, and yet I find on some of the other forums that they're not only very insensitive, but they constantly say things like "This is only meant for this one person," and "You can't join this if you haven't been a member." It's kind of pathetic. I am thankful for this site. I can tell most of the women on here are really neat and fun. I enjoy hanging out with you ladies. :) ↑

Awwww. I wish I could take total and complete credit for it. I stole the idea from another woman off of another baby site. The women over there went nuts for it too! I could probably make a whole new list every single week: "My confessions this week are...." I noticed that when I read them, it made me feel so much better and much less guilty to know that I'm not the only one still eating fast food on a regular basis. And some of them just cracked me up! It's a nice combo of relieving guilt and being entertained at the same time! You guys do rule! I feel like I want to give each of you a hug! ↑
