| No my dr doesn't do those I guess. I am getting on on nov 10 I will be just over 20 weeks. I had and US at 6 weeks and at 8 weeks, but that has been it so far. is it common to get them at 17/18 weeks? ↑ |
| no i think it is more common at 20 weeks. i got one when i was 10 1/2 weeks pregnant and one at 19 1/2 weeks (which was my 20 week ultrasound) they just couldnt'g et me in on time. ↑ |
| my doctor sends your for one throught your whole pregnany and it;s between 17-19 weeks.. I am 19 weeks and I have mone today... hopefully will find out the sex:~) ↑ |
| you lucky then my doctor covered under med insurance only pays for two one the date the pregnancy and one when your 20 weeks. i just got lucky and have gotten to see more because my baby is huge. i'm 36 1/2 weeks pregnant and my baby at 34 1/2 weeks was already over 8lbs and in the 100 percentile for her weight. and they will be doing one more before my actual due date to make sure of her weight to see if they are going to do a C-section or not. ↑ |
| I thought it was supposed to be around 20 weeks and that is the diagnostic one where they look at the spine and head and signs of any abnormalities. I can't wait to go so that I can have my mind at ease that everything is ok. I have been such a worrier with this baby. We are not going to find out the sex, but you can tell at that stage so if you baby gives the US a peek you should be able to know julie ↑ |
| WOW that is a big baby. I had lots and lots of US with my son too because I didn't gain any weight until my 3rd trimester and then I only gained 12 pounds I was tiny and they thought that something may be wrong, but he was just fine ↑ |
