I just thought I would ask you ladies how many of you let your babies sleep in the bed with you? All throughout my pregnancy I told everyone Jasmine WOULD NOT sleep with me. Day 3 - in bed with me and she's 4 1/2 months now and still in the bed with me for at least half of the night.

Did any of you ever have problems with rolling over them? Everyone always asks me that. I never had a problem with it. It's kind of a subconsious (sp?) thing I guess. When I want to roll over I move her out of the way automaticly without even waking up.

And for those of you with older babies or kids who used to sleep in the bed with you.... how old were they when you broke the habbit? Jasmine will sleep until her night-time feeding in her crib but then I put her in bed with me. I'm sure she would sleep all night in there but I would fall asleep standing there holding the bottle so I put her in bed with me so I can go back to sleep too....

My son is 11 months and he sleeps with me on the bed. Hubby and I never rolled on him he rolls on us lol. He use to sleep in his crib sometimes when we first brought him home. I was so paranoid of something happening to him, that I let him sleep in my bed. Now since I am 36 weeks pregnant I am trying to get him use to the crib and it's hard so i wish I never had tried it.

we all say we wont let out kids sleep with us...but my son is 2 1/2 and he's still sleeps with us, but that's because we only have 2 rooms and the other one is an office. We need to remodel/add rooms asap. He slept in his crib from birth til about 1 1/2, so he barely has a year in bed with us.

I only let Kaden sleep with me when he is super grumpy or sick. That stopped after he started hitting me, sticking fingers in my nose, ears, eyes or pulling my hair. Generally being a huge pain and nobody got any sleep. He also started trying to crawl off of the bed.

Isabelle is 2 months old and sleeps with me all night, every night.. and i wont have it any other way.. she loves to sleep with me.. and i get a great sleep when she does lol..
i dont roll onto her because i have pillows between me and her..

And to be honest.. i dont mind if shes still wanting to sleep in the same bed as me when shes 4 years old.. she will know when shes too old to sleep in her own bed.
i think itas natural.. were the only living creature that dosnt sleep with there babies.. little animals dont put there babies in a seperate part when they go to sleep lol.. so why should we ??
Anywho.. thats just my opinion.

my son has never slept in the bed with us. i knew if i started it then it would become a habit. my husband is a very heavy sleeper moves all over the bed at night. now, my son has gotten into this kick where he won't sleep anywhere but his bed.

we all pretty much sleep in the same bed every night. my husband works 3rds and we only have one bed room right now (the one thats supposed to be for the girls is in the process of being remodled....and it's has no heat/cool vent in it). my oldest started sleeping the bed with me at the hospital when she was born and now that she is 3yr has never stopped...same with gracie who is 2yr....now cole at 2 1/2 wks spend the first half of the night in his bassinet next to my bed and the other half in the bed with us. i've never rolled over on any of them. my husband is a really heavy sleepier so when he worked 1st shift and we slept together i would sleep in the middle and put the baby on the outside and wrap my arms around them so they didn't fall off and my hubby didn't roll over on them. now that they are older he has rolled onto them but they just yell at him and push him until he rolls back over.....
i told my hubby that if he ever goes back on firsts we are going to have to get a much bigger bed or another one to push together with this one because a queen size bed and 5 people gets a little crowded.

My baby slept in her bassinet for 3 months, then moved to her crib (she's 4/12 months now), and after she wakes up in the morning around 6 or 7, I feed her then put her in bed with me for 1-3 hrs, depending on how long she sleeps. I only do that so I can get more sleep. If I tried to put her back in her crib she wouldn't go back to sleep.

Tyler starts out in his bassinet and then ends up in bed with me, but he wont be doing that for too much longer, once we start him on cereal and solids that should fill him up enough, and then he will start sleeping in his own room. so i figure no longer than 6-7 months........ i hope!

my nephew slept in my sister and her husbands bed until he was 7 years old. they dont just wake up one day and decide to not sleep with you, or at least most of them dont. you usually have to force them into their own bed.
