I am 99.9% sure my water just broke... waiting for Paul to get here... and going to hospital of course. I'm SOOO scared. It wasn't a gush - but it keeps trickling every time I move positions... and it's definitly not pee. It's clear water.

Shit!

Oh... and no contractions...

I know your prolly really scared and nothing I could say would make you feel much better.....but Ive been reading alot of stories online and if it was your water sometimes they can still hold off the birth awhile longer, but if not Ive read stories of babies being born way before 28 weeks and being just fine....so keep your head up and I hope everything works out well for you

AHHH Nicole let me know asap......... I pray her water did not break though after 27weeks the baby has like a 85-90% chance of survival and in my book those are good odds lol. Best of luck girl

I hope all is well. It could be a bunch of things, pre term labor is accompanyed but back pain, bad labor pains( since it comes on fast) fever etc.
I wonder if it is pee-I know my sister in law thought she was going in labor but it was pee.
I guess we will find out soon enough-I just pray and hope its not labor

the baby will only be 2 1/2 pounds if it was born now.

The chance of survival now is pretty good. My sister was 3 pounds and my uncle was a little under a pound but lets hope her little man stays in a little longer

Pre term Labor
Contractions — You may or may not have pain, but your abdomen or stomach will get very hard (a feeling like it is tightening) and then relax, on and off.

Menstrual-like cramping — You may or may not be uncomfortable with these cramps, but they feel like the cramps you can get before or when you start your menstrual period.

Gas-type pains — Feels like sharp pains in your stomach, or like a stomach virus. You also can have diarrhea or nausea.

Low pelvic pressure — Feels like the baby is putting a lot of heavy pressure down very low inside.

Low backache — Can be a strong or a dull ache.

Blood from your vagina — Can be either light spotting or more blood like during a menstrual period. Blood can be red or brown in color.

Increased discharge from your vagina — Much more discharge than what you are used to during your pregnancy. Can even be a sudden gush of a lot of water, or a small trickle or leak of water that is continuous. Discharge can be watery, pinkish, or brownish in color.

it was 2hrs ago, but in any emerg room there is always a wait-hopefully she wont have to wait, but the test alone will take some time too.
I think Jill had a post similar to this problem a couple of days ago

Her you go to labor and delivery and your in automatically and if your pre term you hold priority

jills post said the same things clear fluid etc, and she went to the doctors and they said it was something to do with her body regulating her ph level-"flora" they called it.
The body does some crazy things when your pregnant

I dont know what they would do at my hospital since she is 28 weeks she might go to womens specialty first.
I guess we will have to wait and see.

Pre term labor can be very painful, but I am glad she went to the hosptial you can never be too safe.

I would have went
I think my hospital is alot idff than most when it comes to labor and delivery cause everyone has diff places they have to go here you just go straight to labor and delivery

at my hosptial you go to women specialty first, then when the contractions are getting strong you go to labor and delievery then after the baby is born you go to post partum-I used to work in post partum-3 different units-we dont have enough hospital in my city so they are always so full so they pace it out depending on your situation.

OMG - I just read this and when I saw who it was from my heart started beating really fast. I know that medicine is amazing these days, but 28 weeks is really early. I can't imagine having to leave a preemie at the hospital and go home each night. I know in the end many preemies are just fine, but those first few months until they catch up are scary. Let's all say a little prayer for Nicole, Paul and Joshua.
