I'm here! We had a doctor appt on April 23 and were immediately admitted to the hospital to induce labor (low low amniotic fluid). 36 hours+ later (and on our second wedding anniversary) baby Ian Michael was born via c-section. He is beautiful and now healthy but he spent the last week in the NICU because of some lung and respiratory issues. Poor fella. We just got released from the hospital today. I am soooo glad to be home with him. What a miracle! Labor was a major bitch. It took me that 36 hours just to dilate to 5 cm. He wasn't hanling the contractions well so they kept starting and stopping labor which resulted in the csection. None of the whole process was ideal but my little man is perfect and well worth it. How is everyone?? Any babies born that I misse?

I was 10 days overdue...The c-section was actually better than I thought. The day after wasn't fun but I feel great now. Beat the hell out of some of the fricken contractions. I swore I was going to die through some of them. It was so exciting not knowing if baby was a boy or a gir. When the dr. pulled him out she said "your baby is of the masculine variety!" and i just started balling. Definitely worth the wait. I know it's exciting either way just to have the baby but that was just icing on the cake for me!
