oh im getting so frustrated here! - From day one i picked out a girls name, no worries and i was happy with it..but i found out i was having a boy its been such a real issue to name him!

I finally picked out Charlie ( Johnson - his last name ) And i liked it for the longest time now im having second thoughts, and everyone is giving me a hard time about the name!
I picked out charlie...i dont know it just had a nice ring to it, plus later on i found out it was the fathers, granddads name that recently passed away. ( Me and the father are no longer together - he is in america, im in Aussie ) And thats the other thing! I'm trying to give him a name thats American/Australian...because both countries have differnt standards

Ugh this is so confusing! and i know its not really important but its stressing me out! I'm giving my little man a name he has to have for the rest of his life and i feel like im going to make a big mistake!

I love Charlie, I think that is a great name. We have picked one name only, people ask me what if he doesn't look like an Xavier, I repley who would he look like he is a baby.
If I had more then one name it would be so hard to pick.I like Charlie.
I think most of use, either like are name or hate it, but it is our name we stick with it.

If you Google Australian baby names, you'll come across a bunch of sites that list baby names according to country of origin. A few "Australian" boy names I liked were Orion, Lauwrence, and Braedon.

A baby's name is very personal...if you like it, then don't worry what others think. I personally don't like it, but why should you listen to me?:) I liked spanky's suggested names though

You could name him Charlie (American) and give him an Australian middle name. So for example he could be Charlie Braedon. ( I really like Braedon as a name.) Then if your child really wants to he could go by his middle name. Chances are he's just gonna be happy with the name you call him.

My brother's name was Birdsie (family name) Albert and they though he would go by just Al or Albert...but he's always been called Birdsie.
