| Hi connie! Breastfeeding is going ok for me. It was hard at first b/c he had a mild tongue tie, but the pediatritian clipped it at the hospital, but not before he ripped me pretty badly. I was unfortunate that a few of the nurses felt that I should nurse him through it. He ended up spitting up blood and wasn;t getting enough so they gave me formula and I got a lot of rude comments from a few of them there. I saw a lactation consultant ans she was a huge help. She showed me the problems with his latch b/c he had been tongue tied and I went and bought a pump. I pumped until my boobs healed and now he is mostly nursing. My milk is already in, and i actually have to put him on top of me so that he isn't gulping too much...he gets too much and chokes. ↑ |
