Hey Everybody... I'm kinda new here... I've been a member for probably 4 or 5 months now and used to post on the SAHM forum but since all the drama started over there haven't posted nearly at all. My husband and I are TTC #2. We have an 8 month old son Noah and are hoping for 2 or 3 more kids. We've been TTC for 2 months now and hoping we get lucky soon :-)

Welcome, to sad all I hear is to much drama from SAHM. I guess some women have nothing better to do than argue.

Welcome, I have heard there is lots of drama there, no drama here unless you make it yourself.
I am pregnant with my first 30 weeks now. I want a couple kids too-well I say that now, I will just have to wait to see how the first on goes.
I love the name Noah

welcome :) As for the drama thing the firls here pretty much ignore the stupid crap and the post fall or the drama starter gets board and leaves. We are a pretty close group and while we have ups and downs it is a great place. There are a few other girls on her who are TTC also. Hopefully things work out for you very soon then you can complain about being fat and pregnant like the rest of us :)

Thanks everybody! I remember all too well what being pregnant felt like lol. I was sick for the first 8 months all day long and just in the morning for the rest of the pregnancy. Plus 15 hour labor where they eventually gave in and pulled him out with the forceps. I've been reading the board for a little while just to make sure the drama didn't leak over here before I started posting. Congrats Logan and conceiving this month! I read that you'd been trying for awhile. I bet your excited! It took us 7 months trying to get pregnant with Noah so I hope it doesn't take that long this time.

Isn't if funny how we as mothers know what it is like to be pregnant, but still do it all over again LOL. Honestly I can't complain at all. With my son and with this pregnancy I didn't get any of the usual symptoms. With my son I would never had know I was pregnant. I even wore my jeans into the delivery room. With this baby I have some trouble sleeping and some back pain, but aside form that I don't ahve any of the other symptoms. I feel so bad for those who are sick for so long.

Hi and welcome! I'm 15 weeks pregnant with my second. I have a 7 month old daughter named Sophie. I used to go to the SAHM forum before I got pregnant again, but I hated it so I stopped. Then when I got prego, I came here and I love it!

welcome....my hubby and I have an 8 month old daughter named Anika, and I am about 19 weeks pregnant. We're very excited and I think it's going to be great having two so close in age. We would like to have about 3 or 4 kids in total (well i want 3, hubby wants 4...so i told him to have the fourth one...lol), but after this second one I think we'll wait a couple of years!! anyways, good luck to you and your hubby!! :-)

shOpgurL-
I have not had this happen to me but my sister did. Maybe your not as far along as you think you are and this is why they are not able to see the baby as of yet. I hope that this is just the case. I am assuming that your doctor scheduled you for another ultrasound?

thanx for the reply mom2Be2007!....what did ur sister experience?my Ob did schedule me for another u/s next week...she also asked me to go get a blood test, to measure the level of my hcg & also to get my blood type....this is my 2nd dr's visit since last week...on my 1st visit, she said my cervix was still closed, and she saw the sac through internal u/s, after that i was ordered for a blood test, 2x to measure my hcg (so she could compare the results)....and then today was my 2nd visit....she compared the measurememnt of the sac today from the measurement last week, the sac grew, but she still didnt see the baby though...

at my sister second visit they did see the baby. At that time they also notice that her uterus was tilted.

I have heard on occassion where the baby never actually develops but I am not sure whether or not the sak would continue to grow. Did just have the second HcG test done with this ultrasound or was this done with your first ultrasound? What was said about it or did you not talk to her?

the 2nd hcg test was done 3 days after my first ultra sound.....she just said that my hcg level was increasing (based on the 2 blood test taken)....

i am still hopeful that my baby will develop...maybe its still too early...did ur sister had a succesful pregnancy?i will be back next week for my another ultra sound...

If the baby never developed I am pretty sure that your HcG levels wouldn't increase either. Infact I am almost positive. You're probably just not as far as long as you thought.

My sister did have a healthy pregnancy. Her son was born just over 7 months after mine.
