i have a small pelvic opening also. but my dr. didn't think anything about it bc around 30 weeks he had already dropped and was head down and a couple of weeks after that i was already dilating. but when i was in labor i had to push for about 45 minutes before he even started to crown. then they had to do that vaccum thing...poor fellow. it sounds to me that you will end up having a c-section since you are full term. ↑ |
mm perhaps a c-section would be best for me a baby even if just in case....will have a think about it - te Dr is calling me in the morning. Fingers crossed she can help my decision. ↑ |
does anyone else have any thoughts? ↑ |
your due date could be off?? maybe ↑ |
yeah but she is definatley measuring at term, we even had an ultrasound to check her out ↑ |
my daughter never dropped and i didn't dialate any. i went in for an induction the day after she was due and i dialated 10 cm in 10 hours. don't be discouraged! ↑ |
tyler was head down and way down at 32 weeks but i never had an cervical exam since i gave birth 2 days before my exam so im not sure if i was dilated or not but he didnt drop till i was in the hospital ↑ |
well the Dr said that there is nothing wrong with the size of my pelvis - so she is just being stubborn. Fingers crossed at my next appointment - the day after my due date - she will book me in for an induction. I think I was hoping that my pelvis would be too small so that they would get her out now - But I guess that I just have to be patient - I think the last few weeks of a pregnancy take the longest! ↑ |
i have a very small build and i wasn't sure if i was gonna be able to push him out, but he was 7 pounds14 oz and i only pushed for 20 min before he came out so i don't think you need to worry about having a smaller pelvis. and im glad that i had a vag. delivery, i would hate to have a c-section, even though some people rather have them. i guess it all depends on the person ↑ |
