Kinda a random question:

Did your kiddos get them before or after they turned 1?

Or is it a matter of what's available appt wise?

it's needs to be atleast 3 months after the day she got her 9months shots. for example, cole was schedualed late getting his 6month shots, he is 7months tomorrow. so he will get is 9 months shots at 10months and his 12 month shots at 13 months. i hope this makes sense lol

Lindsay, thanks for the input.
lacirrom- Yes what you said did make sense. I know when Christian has his other shots it was a couple od days after he turn the certain month.

But I was just wondering about the one year shots because it seems so "special"....i dunno. Just a question that popped in my head today.

i get them avbout 1 week after bradens first. theyre making me get the hep a and tb too bc of daycare otherwise they wont allow him in. so my question is, what if you dont give your kids shots, are they shun from daycares and school?

Coartenay Im prob the only 1 on here that doesnt give my daughter shots..
In New Zealand we have a choice whether we wanna give our kids shots or not.. and it doesn't stop them getting into play center OR school. the only thing that would happen if 1 of them diseases came into school / Playcentre is izzy would get told to stay away until it was all clear.

Coartney- Here in Mass all you have to do is have a written statement stating that its against your relgious beliefs to get immunizations.

I found that info on our Boston Public School System website.

Maybe check the school system there and see what the requirements are.

By the way, i'm not sure if it applied to daycares. For BPS it K-12
