Hi Aliaa, How you feeling today? this sounds like early signs of labour! are you getting sharp pains in your lower back and strong sharp pains in your lower part of abdoman & tightning in your tummy to the point where its quite hard to talk or breath? anyway if you are 38 wks it could be preparing you for labour! if it worsens call your Doctor or Midwife, take it easy. and rest, but when u do get that pain you said its good to try and walk it off, let us know what happens and i hope you have a smooth and easy labour, all the best xx ↑ |

I agree with Ireen sound like early labor. However, it doesn't need to be Sharp or a strong pain, when I went into labor I didn't even know. Could also be what the call Braxton Hicks contractions. This is not actually labor. Since they come and go time them and see how far apart they are. But it sounds good. ↑ |

I probably should mention that Braxton Hicks contractions onlike true labor will not constantly grow strong, longer or closer together. Try to change positions or your activity. Sometime walking can provide relief while other times resting can ease the contractions. If you your having true labor contraction they will continue to persist no matter what you do. ↑ |
