The day after the d&c, I was not bleeding...everyday since then I seem to be bleeding more and more...but still not that much. Then this morning I woke up with a fully soaked pad and two big clots. Called the doc but she's in a meeting and will have to call me back. I'm so scared....so so so scared :'((( ↓

| Mommyagain sometimes women need to have them done after a MC to remove any thing that did not pass on its own. Sorry jenp. I know that it is normal to have speratic bleeding after the d & c but if yo are soaking through in a short time I would def get checked out. I hope the dr calls you back soon. let us know ↑ |

| having some cramping is also normal, but you sound very upset and you need to set you mind at ease. I would call the dr again and let them know that you are very worried and that it is urgent. ↑ |

| I actually said goodbye a few days ago and signed back in to post an update. I too, had a d&c on Aug 4th. The bleeding is going to be sporadic, my was all over the place for a week. My bleeding got so bad that one night I felt a huge gush and got up to go the the bathroom, looked at the chair and there was actually a large puddle of blood. Freaked me out too! Thank goodness it's black and it cleaned up great, whew! I think I perstered my doc every other day becasue I was so worried. Had mild cramping and lots of clots. The good news is, it's all coming out so that your body can get back to normal. My body is getting back to normal now and I'm already on my second period. You'll be ok, try to relax and know that you will soak through a lot of pads. I know you're waiting to hear back from your doc. Other than that, how are you feeling? God bless sweetie. ↑ |

Went to the doc, and thank God, she said everything is fine. Do you guys remember me saying that I don't bleed all day while I'm at work sitting in the cubicle? Well she said that while I'm sitting, the blood is sort of building up inside of me like a pool, and it's clots up by the end of the day....and then it comes out that way when I go home, or to bed and everything. Makes sense...I knew that there was some reason that I didn't bleed all day at work and then just happened to start bleeding when I got home. Anyway, she said my uterus is almost back to it's normal state, and next week we'll either take a pregnancy test or blood work to see if my hormones are back down to normal. If I take a preg test and it comes out positive, then obviously my hormone levels are still up there, but if not, that means that everything is cool and we can start trying again!
Thank you so much ladies for being there for me. You are the only one's that I can go to with this stuff because no one else really knows or understands. I'm just so relieved that everything ended up being ok today. ↑ |
