As far as I know, you don't get your period if you are pregnant. But everyone is different. Some ppl get their period even if they are pregnant. Have you taken a pregnancy test?

There is something called implation bleeding where you will only bleed for a few days. But with my 1st pregnancy I had my period every month. Now I have a 6 year old.

The doc told me about implantation bleeding that can b mistaken for a period, apparently u usually get it around the time when ur supposed to miss ur period, its the embryo attaching itself to ur uterus. Its normally lighter and shorter than ur normal period but everyone is different and i have heard many stories like Danielle's, ur best bet is to take a pregnancy test.

You can't get pregnant "a week before your period - then have your period" and still be pregnant afterwards... a menstrual cycle is the shedding of the uterine lining, if you were pregnant that means the baby would go with the uterine lining (they are attached). Implantation spotting maybe, but not a period.

some girls cam be pregnant and still have a period like your not even pregnant. my sister's best friend had her period for the 9 months. others may only have for the 1st month up in till the 6month. but it's not unheard of.
