Did any of you sweat for no reason during early pregnancy? This one is completely different than my first pregnancy and I notice I will start sweating horribly for no reason and sometimes feel dizzy at the same time and then it will just stop a few minutes later. I was hardly ever sick the first time around and now I'm sick all day long and I know that's normal, but wasn't sure about the sweating with dizziness. Thanks girls! :-)

I am not diabetic and I didn't sweat like this through my first pregnancy, but then again everything about this pregnancy is different. I see my ob on the 18th so I will ask her then. Thanks girls!

It's normal to be warmed during pregnancy. You might have an infection or fever though. Get it checked out asap.

i didn't in early pregnancy, but now, i'll break out in hot flashes and just sweat for no reason. i'm 35 weeks pregnant. this summer has been a b*tch down here in NC. it's been 100 and over just about all summer...it's the hottest summer we've ever had since 1900, and of course i've had to be pregnant during it.

I haven't started sweating a lot yet during my pregnancy but I am sure I will later as I will be pregnant during summer here in Australia. BUT I did break out into a sweat when I was about to pass out, it has happened a few times, and because I haven't eaten for the morning, afternoon etc, so like what someone else said it could be blood sugar levels, I am not a diabetic etc but I know my body needs fuel to keep me going otherwise the sweat, instant no energy, feel like I am going to vomit, and am about to pass out. Eating is the key... not pigging out but making sure I regularly have something to eat.

I started eating a cracker when I'd feel dizzy and that seems to help. I still get hot and sweaty and then a few minutes later I will be cold so I think it's just my hormones playing tricks on me. I will ask my doctor when I go to my first visit.

How have you been feeling a mom to be? When is your due date again? I won't know mine for sure until my appointment, but I think it's going to be sometime around April or May 2008.
