Yeah I had to get 2 done with each pregnancy.Cause I was about to misscarry. If your baby has postive blood then your negative blood will attack it like it is a foreign obgect in your body.Anyways I bled all threw out my 1 st pregnancy cause of it.I wish you luck!! ↑ |
yeah I have to get mine done next week, this is my first baby, and i'm 27 weeks pregnant. I'm B negative, my doc said I need to have the shot. ↑ |
well so far everything is going really well for me...i only had to have one shot up to this point...my dr. said its good until march of 2007...it wasnt nothing bad just a lil shot,at first i was just confused as to what the deal was, thank god for the internet lol ↑ |
I also had to get the RHogam shot because my blood type is O negative. I hated the shot I just about jumped off the table when they shot me! I thought it hurt like hell! I hope the baby has the same blood type as me so I don't have to go through that again! ↑ |
i also am a- and i had the shot with all three of my other ones. the doctors says that if u have negitive blood and the baby has positive and u don't get the shot that the next time u get pregnant that ur immune system can hurt the baby. ↑ |
I had my first RH injection three weeks ago. Luckily, I didn't find it painful at all. My blood is O negative. ↑ |
yes i do i had the shot with my first and i'm having it again with my pregnancy now...i'm 22 weeks and when i go back to the dr in 3 weeks i'm getting mine........my blood type is RH Neg... ↑ |
ok well i don't know if i'm a o or b neg but you know what i mean lol..... ↑ |
Yes this is my third baby and of course he had to be born positive. My rhogham shot only helped me fight off his positive cells however we did have blood exchange through the placenta and he is in the nicu right now have biliruban lights and plasma exchange (simular to a blood transfusion only reusing his own blood after filtering out my antibodies) ↑ |
I've had 5 of them for all my pregnancies. They don't hurt that much really. The one earlier in pregnancy stings a little. I think because your skinnier than you are later. The extra padding helps for the second shot after your baby is born !lol ↑ |
