I just wanted to share this song with you guys. If you have a music download program you should listen to it. It's Reba Macintire - "You're Gonna Be". Made me tear up a little. So does the song "In My Daughter's Eyes" by Martina McBride.

Thats a beautiful song! I also have In My Daughters Eyes and I can never get through that song without crying and I dont even have a daughter....atleast that I know of yet(17 weeks pregnant..lol) I also heard a song about a son from his mother and its called You'll Always Be My Baby by Sara Evans. I have a son so that song is close to my heart.:) ↑

I don't listen to country. I'm a rock girl myself. I have had a song picked out for my son, though, for years. It's called "Simple Man," and was originally done by Lynard Skynard. . .Just a couple of years ago Shinedown redid it, and both versions are really awesome. I was going to burn it to a CD and put it in my son's baby book. Hopefully when he is older he will have the same appreciation for music that I do, but even if not it can just be my little sappy gift to him that he can roll his eyes at. LOL (I wonder if we'll even be able to listen to CDs in 16 years? What if it becomes like the 8Track? Hmm, maybe I'll have to update it throughout the years.) ↑
